Souleymane Diarrassouba has described the PND 2026–2030 as a roadmap for economic transformation. He said the plan prioritises productive investment and human capital development. It also seeks to strengthen private sector participation in the economy. The minister noted that giving the plan legal backing will ensure policy continuity. This, he added, will support long-term and sustainable economic growth.
The draft has already been adopted at the committee stage. It will now be reviewed in plenary by the Assemblée Nationale de Côte d’Ivoire. Following this, the bill will be sent to the Senate in line with constitutional procedures.
