Carlos Queiroz believes Ghana can become a “country of champions.” He made this statement after his unveiling as coach of the Ghana national football team. His contract runs for four months, leading up to the World Cup. Queiroz has less than 50 days to prepare the team for the tournament. He aims to stabilise the squad after four straight defeats under Otto Addo.
Ghana will face England, Croatia, and Panama in their group. The coach says his main focus is achieving strong results at the World Cup. The Black Stars hope to reach the knockout stage again for the first time since 2010.
