A stoppage-time strike from Qamar Adegoke handed Shooting Stars a dramatic 2–1 victory over Rivers United in a rescheduled NPFL clash at Lekan Salami Stadium on Thursday.
Sodiq Ibrahim fired the hosts ahead in the 34th minute, finishing calmly to give the Oluyolo Warriors the lead at the break.
Rivers United fought back after the interval and levelled in the 69th minute through Wasiu Falolu.
Just as the game seemed headed for a draw, Adegoke popped up in the 90th+2 minute to snatch all three points for the Ibadan side.
The win lifts Shooting Stars to 6th on the log with 44 points.
