Minister of Women Affairs, Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim, has called for greater support for Nigerian women to boost economic growth, food security, and poverty reduction. She made the appeal during a meeting with the Managing Director of the Bank of Agriculture, Ayo Sotinri, in Abuja.
The minister said empowering women would strengthen household productivity and national development. Sotinri added that women remain central to agricultural value chains and pledged increased access to financing, markets, and business opportunities through targeted programmes.
