The Space Forum Africa will return for its second edition in Lomé from July 28 to 31, 2026. The event will focus on the theme: “Building Africa’s space future: innovation, defense and sustainability.” It will bring together governments, space agencies, investors, researchers, and technology companies. The goal is to strengthen Africa’s growing space technology ecosystem. Discussions will focus on the use of satellite and geospatial data in key sectors.
These include agriculture, mineral resource management, urban planning, and climate risk management. The forum is promoted by Richard Folly through African Geospace. It also aims to build stronger partnerships between African and international space industry players.
