Nigeria Hosts Civil Service Conference

Nigeria will host the 2026 International Civil Service Conference in Abuja from May 20 to 21 under the theme “Reforms, Resilience and Results.” President Bola Tinubu is expected to formally open the event, which will bring together delegates from several countries including the United States, United Kingdom, Ghana, and Singapore.

The conference will feature plenary sessions, technical roundtables, and exhibitions focused on institutional reform, digital transformation, leadership, and service delivery. Head of the Civil Service Didi Esther Walson-Jack said the event comes at a critical time for building a more accountable and citizen-focused public service.
