Guinness Ghana will award GH¢100,000 to the 2026 Album/EP of the Year winner at the Telecel Ghana Music Awards. The package also includes music video support and business intelligence to guide the artiste’s growth. The initiative aims to provide long-term value and strengthen Ghana’s creative industry. Yaa Amoah-Owusu described the category as the peak of artistic expression and originality.
Nominees include Black Sherif, Stonebwoy, Gyakie, Medikal, Wendy Shay, and Kweku Smoke. Organisers say the move reinforces the importance of albums as lasting creative works. The 27th edition of the awards will be held on May 9, 2026.
