Liberia Drug Probe Takes New Twist

A key figure in Liberia’s nineteen-point-two million-dollar cocaine investigation has requested witness protection and agreed to cooperate with investigators. Paul Jamaal King insists he acted only as a freight broker and has identified another individual as the alleged shipper.

Liberian authorities say the investigation now extends beyond the intercepted shipment to determine whether a wider criminal network is involved. Ten persons of interest, including airport personnel, are currently under investigation.
