Oyebanji Wins Historic Second Term

Ekiti State Governor Biodun Oyebanji has been re-elected after securing 319,224 votes and winning in all 16 local government areas. The victory makes him the first incumbent governor in the state’s history to achieve consecutive re-election.

His closest challengers, Wole Oluyede and Dare Bejide, finished far behind. Oyebanji described the result as a vote of confidence and pledged to deepen development across key sectors.
