Togo has launched a new support program for cooperatives in the crafts and agri-food sectors. The initiative is led by the House of Cooperatives with support from GIZ. A total of 115 groups will be selected through a call for applications open until April 5, 2026. The program focuses on helping women-led groups and people with disabilities. Selected cooperatives will receive training in governance, finance, and business management.
They will also benefit from practical support to improve productivity and income. This effort addresses key challenges like weak management and limited access to funding. Overall, the project aims to make cooperatives strong drivers of inclusive economic growth.
