The United Nations system in Togo says its programmes benefited more than two million people between 2024 and 2025. The support covered areas such as health, education, nutrition and social protection. Many vulnerable families received assistance through community projects. The UN described the achievement as an important step toward improving living conditions. Development partners also praised Togo’s cooperation in implementing the programmes.
Several rural communities reportedly benefited from improved access to social services. The projects were carried out in partnership with government agencies and local organizations. The UN says it plans to continue supporting development efforts across the country.
