South African President Cyril Ramaphosa has formally received the credentials of US Ambassador Brent Bozell. The ceremony comes amid strained diplomatic relations between both countries.
Ramaphosa emphasised the need for diplomats to respect national sovereignty and adopt constructive engagement. South Africa remains the United States’ largest trading partner in Africa.
