A Federal High Court in Abuja has sentenced four men to life imprisonment for participating in Boko Haram activities in Borno State between 2021 and 2024. The judgment was delivered after all defendants pleaded guilty to terrorism-related charges.
The convicts were involved in attacks across several communities, including Bama and Gwoza. Fourteen other suspects received varying prison terms, as part of the ongoing mass trial of about 500 terror suspects currently being handled in Abuja.
